Oracle Corporation has announced a round of layoffs impacting 158 employees at its Pleasanton, California location. According to state filings, the job cuts include 76 software developers, 30 application developers, and 11 product management staff. These actions follow last fall's layoffs, when Oracle reduced its Bay Area workforce by 254 employees during a nationwide downsizing effort. Oracle employed 162,000 workers as of May 2025.
