Why connect to Slack
A Slack connection gives you:

Setting up Slack
From the setup checklist
When you create a job, you will see a setup checklist:
- Complete company profile ✓
- Verify your identity ✓
- Connect on Slack ← Click this
Manual setup
- Go to organization settings
- Find Integrations or Slack
- Click Connect Slack
Connection flow
- Click Connect Slack
- Confirm your email address
- We create a shared channel
- You receive an invitation
- Join the channel in your Slack workspace
Channel name
Your channel will be named something like:
dailydev-yourcompany
This is a Slack Connect channel shared between your workspace and ours.
Using the Slack channel
What to use it for
- Questions: Ask anything about the platform
- Issues: Report problems for fast resolution
- Feedback: Share what is working or not
- Strategy: Discuss hiring approach
- Urgent matters: Flag time-sensitive issues
What you will receive

You can receive Slack notifications for:

Configure notification preferences in settings.
Multiple team members
All your team members can join the channel:
- They join your Slack workspace
- They are added to the shared channel
- Everyone can participate in conversations
No limit on participants.
If you do not use Slack
If your company does not use Slack:
- Email support is always available
- Response times are still fast for Super Agent
- Consider Slack for the best experience
We do not currently support Microsoft Teams for shared channels.
Troubleshooting
Invitation not received?
- Check your Slack notification settings
- Look in your Slack Connect invitations
- Contact us via email to resend
Cannot join the channel?
- Your Slack admin may need to approve Slack Connect
- Contact your IT team to enable
- We can provide documentation for IT
Wrong email address?
- The channel is created based on your account email
- Update your email in settings and reconnect
