Dashboard layout
When you log in to daily.dev Recruiter, you see your dashboard with three main areas:
1. Sidebar (left)
The sidebar is your main navigation:
- Logo: Click to return to dashboard home
- New Job: Quick button to add a new job
- Organizations: Your companies, each with their jobs listed
- Your Profile: At the bottom, with settings and logout
2. Main content (center)
The main area shows:
- Job details: When you select a job
- Candidate briefs: When reviewing matches
- Settings: When editing profiles or configurations
3. Header (top)
Context for where you are:
- Current location: What job or section you are viewing
- Action buttons: Submit, edit, or other relevant actions
- Status indicators: Job state, review progress, etc.
Sidebar organization
Jobs in the sidebar are organized by:
Company/organization
If you recruit for multiple companies, each has its own section:
Acme Corp
└─ Draft
└─ Senior Engineer
└─ Active
└─ Product Designer
└─ DevOps Lead
└─ Paused
└─ Junior Developer
Job states
Within each company, jobs are grouped by status:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Job created but not submitted |
| Active | Job is live and matching |
| Paused | Temporarily stopped |
Job states explained
Draft
Jobs you are still working on:
- Just imported or created
- Editing in progress
- Not yet submitted for review
Click a draft job to continue editing.
Active (live)
Jobs that are live and matching:
- Approved and visible to developers
- Intelligent matching is running
- You may have candidates to review
Click to see matches, intros, or edit.
Paused
Jobs you have temporarily stopped:
- Not visible to developers
- No new matching
- Can be resumed anytime
Click to resume or view history.
Navigation tips
Quick access
- Click any job name to open it
- Use New Job to start a new listing
- Click your profile for settings
Keyboard shortcuts
- Press N to create a new job
- Press ? to see all shortcuts

Finding jobs
If you have many jobs:
- Jobs are sorted by activity (most recent first)
- Use organization grouping to find specific companies
- Inactive jobs appear at the bottom
Your profile section
At the bottom of the sidebar:
- Your photo: Click to access profile settings
- Your name: Displayed to candidates
- Settings icon: Quick access to settings
- Logout: Sign out of your account
First-time dashboard
When you first sign up:
- Dashboard is mostly empty
- Onboarding prompts guide you
- Create your first job to populate the sidebar
Troubleshooting
Sidebar not loading?
- Refresh the page
- Check your internet connection
- Try logging out and back in
Jobs not appearing?
- Check you are viewing the right organization
- Draft jobs may be in a collapsed section
- Contact support if jobs are truly missing
